Position Overview:
We're seeking an exceptional Head of Creative and Content to spearhead our narrative building and brand communication initiatives. This is a team leadership role with significant autonomy and will be crucial in shaping how we drive innovation in social sector communication, shape our impact narrative, engage audience and stakeholders( across B2B, B2C, B2G), and drive social change through powerful storytelling.

At The/Nudge Institute, you will:
Strategic leadership
  • Develop and execute an integrated content and creative strategy aligned with organizational objectives, target audience, and brand identity. 
  • Lead the conceptualization and creation of signature content IPs that establish thought leadership
  • Drive innovation in storytelling formats across digital and traditional media
  • Oversee brand architecture and visual identity across all touchpoints
Content strategy, development & management
  • Build and manage an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of content that supports brand positioning, marketing campaigns and product launches across all channels (incl. social media, website)
  • Lead multimedia content production including videos, podcasts, event collaterals, annual report and other marketing material
  • Drive SEO strategy to enhance organic visibility and reach
  • Establish measurement frameworks to track content performance and ROI
Team Leadership and Stakeholder management
  • Mentor a high-performing team of content creators and designers, foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and excellence
  • Cultivate and manage external creative agencies and freelance partners
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and program teams to surface impact stories and create compelling content
Innovation, Trend spotting & Future-Readiness (Key Focus Area)
  • Stay ahead of emerging content formats, platforms, and consumption patterns
  • Pioneer new storytelling formats that leverage emerging technologies
  • Build systems for rapid prototyping and testing of new content formats
  • Drive AI integration in content creation, distribution and measurement
  • Drive innovation in data visualization and impact storytelling
  • Create learning systems to keep teams updated on industry development and global trends in social sector communication

The ideal candidate for the role has:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in content strategy and creative direction with a strong focus on digital platforms and a portfolio demonstrating:

  • Exceptional communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
  • A creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and innovation. Ability to deliver on complex communication in the social sector

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Understanding of current content technology landscape (experience with AI tools and platforms is a plus) and the ability to balance innovation with practical application
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of creative professionals.
