About Indian Administrative Fellowship Program:
The/Nudge Indian Administrative Fellowship is a 12 month Fellowship providing a platform for senior corporate leaders (Fellows on Special Duty) to collaborate closely with senior IAS officers (Secretary rank & above) within departments/divisions to design and execute technological interventions of strategic importance focused towards strengthening livelihoods.
What this role is not:
-A sabbatical or a part-time engagement.

Impact objectives of the Program:
Indian Administrative Fellowship intends to stimulate sustained impact at scale, by bringing together talent from the private sector to collaboratively work with state leadership for:
- augmented reach and efficiency of livelihood-centric interventions anchored in technology
- enhanced departmental and cross-departmental synergies
- and strengthened policy ecosystem to deliver impact interventions at scale.
Purpose of the Role:
To serve as a program enabler to the Development Commissioner, ensuring effective implementation and tracking of key development initiatives across the state.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning
- Translate broad policy priorities into actionable plans and roadmaps.
- Facilitate alignment across departments and ensure coherence in development strategies.
2. Program and Initiative Tracking
- Design and maintain systems to monitor progress across key initiatives (e.g., dashboards, trackers).
- Regularly collect, synthesize, and present data and insights to inform decision-making.
- Flag bottlenecks and proactively propose course corrections.
3. Coordination and Stakeholder Management
- Act as a liaison between the Development Commissioner’s office and other government departments, district-level officers, development partners, and civil society organizations.
- Schedule and facilitate interdepartmental meetings and reviews, ensuring clear follow-ups and accountability.
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with key implementation teams.
4. Decision Support and Policy Research
- Prepare briefing notes, concept papers, and presentations for key meetings and decisions.
- Conduct background research on schemes, best practices, and policy options.
- Curate relevant internal and external knowledge to support informed decision-making.
5. Internal Operations and Efficiency
- Streamline internal processes within the Development Commissioner’s office (e.g., file movement, meeting workflows).
- Ensure timely review and response to key communications and proposals.
- Manage high-priority tasks and avoid falls through the cracks.
6. Institutional Strengthening
- Support documentation, knowledge management, and dissemination of learnings across departments.
- Drive special projects aimed at improving institutional effectiveness.
