About The/Nudge
The/Nudge is an action institute building resilient livelihoods to alleviate poverty. We work with women, farmers, tribals and youth on rural development, agriculture, skilling and economic inclusion, along with 15+ central and state government partners.

Our economic inclusion journey for 25 million Indians, has reached 10 states with $250M of government funding to cover 1.25M people. Our incubator, accelerator and grand challenges have supported 200+ social entrepreneurs including 17 Forbes 30U30, 3 EarthShot Prize winners, 1 Time Magazine cover and more.

About the Team
The People & Culture team at The Nudge helps in acquiring and nurturing the right talent to meet the organization's objectives. By being part of this team, join us on an unique opportunity to build the People & Culture function of a rapidly growing organization which is solving some of the toughest problems in India.

What will you do?
  • Design and implement employee engagement strategy for our teams spread across multiple towns running livelihood program operations. This should involve OD( organisational developement), learning, performance processes and culture designed specifically for distributed teams with limited access to data or computers.
  • Drive people processes with the central supporting function teams in the capacity of a people business partner
  • Analyze trends and key HR metric for supporting functions
  • Engage in monthly/quarterly people reviews for the team
  • Develop a comprehensive and sustainable employee engagement strategy
  • Work closely with leadership and employees to build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Conduct need assessment to build capacity towards employee growth and development
  • Plan and execute meaningful employee engagement spaces (offline and online)

Who are we looking for in this role?
  • 8–12 years of overall work experience, with significant exposure to organization development, employee engagement, or people processes.
  • Experience in managing people initiatives for distributed or field-based teams (especially in rural/remote contexts) with limited digital/data access.
  • Excitement to solve people challenges and build culture within a mission-driven organization.
  • Strong communication and empathy skills, with the ability to build trust and connect with employees across diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and maintain relationships with multiple stakeholders, including leadership, field teams, and central functions.
  • Comfort with data analysis and deriving insights, with working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong execution and operational skills to translate ideas into impactful on-ground initiatives.
